There are different options for you when you set up your call forwarding, giving your more freedom in managing your incoming calls. You can easily and quickly set different answering rules depending on the time of call or the number calling.
Callers are not informed that their calls are forwarded from one number to another. So to them, they are calling and talking to someone who is in the office, even when you are actually at home or somewhere else.
The RingCentral call forwarding features are FollowMe and FindMe. FollowMe directs calls to a single number, while FindMe goes through a series of different numbers until the call is answered.
FindMe
With FindMe, you can set up through your online account a series of different numbers to which calls are forwarded. You can change the sequence of the included numbers, as well as the number of rings before the call is directed to the next phone.
FollowMe
With FollowMe, callers are directed to a single number. It overrides the settings for FindMe when you enable this feature through your online account or even through your phone. This makes it easy for callers to reach you when you are in a different location where there is a nearby landline and no cell phone signal.
