What is RingCentral DigitalLine VoIP service? >>

RingCentral DigitalLine VoIP service is an upgrade for your RingCentral virtual phone system that integrates the convenience and savings of a VoIP (Voice over IP) phone line with the features of RingCentral.

DigitalLine works just like a regular phone service, but instead of going through landlines, your calls go through your Broadband connection. Use DigitalLine to quickly and easily connect satellite offices, home offices and remote employees.

What equipment options are available? >>

RingCentral offers three products that can be ordered from your online account, or you can use your own unlocked SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) compatible device:

Call Controller with SoftPhone – lets you answer and place calls directly from your PC Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) – converts standard phones into IP Phones IP Phone - business quality IP Desk phone with a built-in speaker phone.

How much does the service cost? >>

Prices start at just CDN$ 9.99 per month. There are three DigitalLine plans to choose from: Basic, Standard and Unlimited to meet your calling needs.

Can I dial 911? >>

Yes. RingCentral provides enhanced 911 service.

Do I have to have a RingCentral Mobile account? >>

Yes. DigitalLine is an add-on service to your existing RingCentral Mobile account.

Can I use my existing VoIP phone number? >>

How do I set-up and manage phones? >>

The ATA adapter and IP Phones are delivered in two to three business days. Simply plug in the power and your broadband internet connection. The Call Controller with SoftPhone for your PC is easily downloaded from your account, and will be working within minutes.

All of our DigitalLine phones are plug-and-play. Move them to any location with a broadband connection. Assign them to another extension online. All maintenance is self-provisioned.

Can I select which caller ID to be displayed on my outbound calls? >>

Yes. Display any RingCentral phone number as the outbound caller ID from any DigitalLine phone. We even allow you to add personal numbers (mobile, home) into your RingCentral account which could be used as well.

What type of bandwidth is needed for the phone to work? >>

You need a high speed DSL, cable or fiber connection with at least 128 Kbps upstream and 384 downstream speed. The Internet connection via cable modem must be 2 way cable - not 1-way cable. Check your broadband connection from this site.
